Boarding

Boarding is a slumber party for your dog, where we pick them up on one day and bring them home on another. Boarding is provided in our home, located in the Northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley (Alexander and Buffalo), and round-trip transportation for your dog is included!

For the safety of the working dogs in our care and to adhere to the safety/privacy clause in the contracts we have with their handlers and companies,  our home address is not published on our website. If you haven’t already read the ABOUT US section, please take a moment to check it out so you can learn more about our home and who we are. We’ll take excellent care of your dog and it’s important to us that you know why we do what we do.

All visiting dogs are treated like part of our family, regardless of the length of their stay. Your dog will get private time with every visit to explore our home, play with us in our yard, cuddle with us on our couch, and more. We want your dog to feel comfortable whenever they come to visit so allowing them to get used to us and our space is important.

Your dog will be included in the routine we’ve established for our own pack and will be treated just like one of our own. This means that you can opt your dog in or out of activities we do every day and we'll make sure your dog gets the exercise and stimulation that he/she needs for their breed/size. Daytime activities can include walks around the neighborhood, trail walks at our park, hikes, water play during the summer, tug time, agility, puzzles, cuddle time on the couch, dog-friendly socialization and more. You’ll have the ability to select the activities to include your dog in when submitting your scheduling form.

Visitors are rotated on a schedule, just like our own pack, between free roam of the house, outdoor play and relaxation or nap time in a private area. Your dog, or pack, will have their own rest space just a few feet away from where we spend most of our day. The space is 4x6 feet per dog and covered to prevent jumping. It has comfortable flooring, fresh water, elevated bedding, a napping blanket and approved toys. Our visitors are never left unattended and our rest/play areas are sanitized between every dog's use.

All activities are one-on-one with us and your dog will only have playtime with another dog-friendly pup if you'd like them to. If your dog is not social-friendly, that's ok! They shouldn't have to miss out on activities and exercise because they prefer human interaction.

________________________________

We’ll keep your dog(s) on his/her feeding schedule. We provide stainless steel food bowls for meal time so they can be sanitized between every use and we hand feed all treats.

For the health and safety of all the dogs in our care, we supply all bedding for overnight guests who need it so sending personal items is not necessary. For the safety of all of the dogs in our care, all overnight visitors sleep in either a crate or a kennel and are never alone. We have a variety of crates in all sizes and styles, from wire and plastic to military-grade and escape-proof. Some visitors sleep overnight in their daytime kennels when it is safe for them to do so.

If your dog has completed a training program with a professional trainer and has a routine you’d like us to keep up with while they’re visiting, just let us know. We’ll keep track of what was done and how he/she did so we can keep you updated. If you're interested in getting training for your dog, we offer that too. Please visit our training page for more information.

________________________________

Puppies who do not have all of their shots yet and dogs that are not potty trained will be kept in a separate area of our home, reserved just for puppies. Puppies also have a private play and bathroom space. All of our resting spaces are sanitized between every use.

If your little lady is expected to be in heat during her visit with us, you can let us know when submitting your scheduling form. She’ll be way too popular with any male visitors we have to be kept in the same area or included in social playtime so she’ll have private playtime (and playtime with other females if you’d like).

Please take a moment to read through the FAQ page of our website prior to scheduling with us so you're fully prepared for your first visit.

BOARDING

• Boarding pickups and drop-offs are scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, and on some Sundays.

• Scheduling is on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to what we have left available on the date you're requesting.

• Our Saturdays are dedicated to advanced training and while we board over the weekend, we do not have incoming or outgoing visitors on Saturdays to eliminate distractions.

• We are closed on the 2nd Friday and Saturday of every month for deep cleaning and truck maintenance, as required by our insurance and licensing. While we board over that weekend, we are not available for transportation so pickups are booked for before our scheduled closure and drop-offs for after we reopen.

• We can accommodate all feeding scheduling and diets. Please send enough food for your dog's entire visit, plus a couple of extra meals in the event your dog's stay gets extended due to unforeseen circumstances. Flight delays, road closures, illness, and family emergencies have happened more times than you'd expect and while we have no problem feeding your dog whatever food we happen to have available, it can be pricey and can cause GI upset. We hope to keep your pup comfortable for their entire visit.

• If your dog requires prescription medication or supplements with their food during their visit, make sure to send them in their original bottle/packaging with instructions.
