Day Care

Daycare is provided in our home, located in the Northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley (Alexander and Buffalo), and round-trip transportation for your pup is included!

For the safety of the working dogs in our care and to adhere to the safety/privacy clause in the contracts we have with their handlers and companies, our home address is not published on our website. Please take a moment to visit the FAQ page of our website to learn more about this/us if you haven't already done so. If you haven’t already read the ABOUT US section, please take a moment to check it out so you can learn about our home and who we are. We’ll take excellent care of your dog and it’s important to us that you know why we do what we do.

All visitors are treated like part of our family, regardless of the length of their stay. Your dog will get private time with every visit to explore our home, play with us in our yard, cuddle with us on our couch, and more. We want your dog to feel comfortable whenever they come to visit so allowing them to get used to us and our space is important.

 

Your dog will be included in the routine we’ve established for our own pack and will be treated just like one of our own. This means that you can opt your dog in/out of activities we do every day and we'll make sure your dog gets the exercise and stimulation that he/she needs for their breed/size. Daytime activities can include walks around the neighborhood, trail walks at our park, hikes, water play during the summer, tug time, agility, puzzles, cuddle time on the couch, dog-friendly socialization and more. You’ll have the ability to select the activities to include your dog in when submitting your new visitor form.

Visitors are rotated, just like our own pack, on a schedule between free roam of the house, outdoor play and relaxation or nap time in a private area. Your dog(s) will have their own space to relax just a few feet away from where we spend most of our day. The space is 4x6 feet per dog and covered to prevent jumping. It has comfortable flooring, freshwater, elevated bedding, a napping blanket and toys. Our visitors are never left unattended and our rest areas are sanitized between every dog’s use.

All activities are one-on-one with us and your dog will only have playtime with another dog-friendly pup if you'd like them to. If your dog is not social-friendly, that's ok! They shouldn't have to miss out on activities and exercise because they prefer human interaction.

Dogs who are with us during standard daycare hours are generally not included in mealtime unless requested. Most of our daily visitors are fed prior to being picked up and have dinner when they return home. However, we’ll keep your dog on his/her feeding schedule so if they normally have breakfast in the late morning, skipped breakfast that morning or have a dinner time earlier than 5 pm, please send their meal with them and we'll make sure they get it. We provide stainless steel food bowls for meal time so they can be sanitized between every use and we hand feed all treats. Sending personal bowls is not necessary.

If your dog has completed a training program with a professional trainer and has a training routine you’d like us to keep up with while they’re visiting, just let us know. We’ll keep track of what was done and how he/she did so we can keep you updated. If you're interested in getting training for your dog, we offer that too. If your dog requires medication during their visit, just let us know. All medication and supplements should be sent in their original packaging or prescription bottle.

Puppies who do not have all of their shots yet and dogs that are not potty trained will be kept in a separate area of our home, reserved just for puppies. Puppies also have a private play and bathroom space. All of our resting spaces are sanitized between every use.

If your little lady is expected to be in heat during her visit with us, you can let us know when submitting your scheduling form. She’ll be way too popular with any male visitors we have to be kept in the same area or included in social playtime so she’ll have private playtime (and playtime with other females if you’d like).

DAYCARE

 

Our standard daycare hours are 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday through Friday.

 

*We are closed the 2nd Friday and Saturday of every month for deep cleaning and truck maintenance, as required by our insurance and licensing, and do not offer standard daycare on these days.

​

• Pick-ups and drop-offs are scheduled during our standard daycare hours.

• Scheduling is on a first-come, first-served basis and will be limited to what we have left available on the date you're requesting.

• We offer weekend boarding but daycare is not available over the weekend.

• Dogs with us for daycare usually eat breakfast prior to pickup and dinner after their return home. However, we can accommodate all feeding scheduling and diets. Please send any food your dog may need during their visit with us. 

• If your dog requires medication or supplements with their food during their visit, make sure to send it in its original bottle/packaging with instructions.
